Re: Glass Claws

They're really not good for stretching; it gets riskier as you go bigger. The weight can pull on your lobes and put pressure on a fresh stretch, and they can move around too much, causing irritation.
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

I'd say they're safer to wear as jewelry than tapers, but still not recommended. If you really need to stretch with them I suppose you could, but the benefit of using a taper over a claw or crescent or whatever you want to call it, is that you can follow the taper with your plug. I can back up what corazon said about then moving around and causing irritation. Before I figured out what I was doing I'd wear spirals and claws and would have trouble with them staying in place, thus causing me to shift around in a certain size forcing me to stretch holes constantly. Sorry if that doesn't make any sense...I'm so tired lol
The sound of gun fire so loud and rapid, but it seems to be so quiet around me, and out of nowhere I feel peace cover me. I reach down and reload my ticket home. The taste of cold steel on my lips, and a second later silence fills the January air...

Re: Glass Claws

Thanks for the info. Yeah i got most of it. haha
I'll stick to plugs for now
Just in case someone reads this i don't want to start another thread but what are some good signs of your piercing being healed? I don't want to size up or anything, just for massage purposes and jewelry changing.
