bad luck ordering jewelry online know of any good places

ugh Im so aggervated right now I ordered some stainless steel 8 ga cause I know acrylic isnt great to wear full time .. and thats what I have now acrylic spirals .. any way the new earrings arive and omg they are not the same size one is an 8 ga and thats great but one Im sure is a 10 .. I know there can be slight fluctuations in glass jewelry but I have never heard of this with stainless and worse yet I really dont think they are stailess steel ! and I wonder if they are actually new ...one even has like a nick /chip thing in it and it looks black inside the chip ... do any of you know of some reputable online sources to buy lower gage jewelry in the 8-6 range ? I would love some links .. and if anyone would like Ill post pics of the bizzar earrings that arrived ...also since I am not planning on staying at a 8 for more than a few months ..I dont wanna invest a whole whole lot of money in this size .. so affordable places would be the best i can buy jewelry in town but the going rate is 10-12 $ per piece and no one makes deals on pairs ...after wasteing 10 $ online I should have just paid a lil more and went with the limited selection they have in town ...

I buy all my stuff from www.PainfulPleasures.com. Great site, great customer service. Shipping takes about a week for me, but there are coupon codes floating out on the web for the site for free shipping and things like that.

chalking up $20 to $25 on a set of smaller gauge plugs does kinda suck but there is a reason why. i've seen a set of 6g plugs at walmart for $7. i also saw the chrome layer flake off of them after only a week of use. piercing shops will usually carry Implant Grade Surgical Stainless Steel. a lot of people think steel is steel but their are huge differences. IGSSS is harder and more dense. it also has a much smoother finish. it will also not have any visible markings on it. having a scratch that is visible you the eye on a piece jewelry is enough for me to send it back to the manufacturer for being flawed. a tiny little scratch is big enough to house bacteria that can reek havoc on your body.
discount stretching isn't the way to go. spend the few extra bucks and be happier and healthier. getting to know your local piercer doesn't hurt either. i wouldn't come off a dime for a stranger but i'd knock a few bucks off for someone i'd see on a regular basis.
1 1/4" each lobe. 2g septum. 12g lebret.
6g tongue retired. 12g Hand webbing retired. 12g bridge retired.
12g madison retired. 10g ampallang regretfully retired.

Stretching goal: 1" again. No real need to stop if my ears still want to go.
