I browsed around the forums via the search feature, but I couldn't seem to find an answer to my question...
I've been comfortably and happily at a 6g for about a year now. Usually I wear glass gauges... but as they are expensive to order to replace if I lose one, I want to branch out a bit and try something new. I started looking at silicone eyelets. I want to order this pair, http://www.kaossoftwear.com/index.php?m ... htkg60q2t0, but there is a "Wearing Surface" option that I'm confused about. For the 6ga, the options are 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8. What exactly does wearing surface measure, and which would anyone recommend?
Thanks for your help!

Re: Kaos Eyelet question... Wearing surface?
It refers to the length of the eyelet. I always get 1/4" because I think they look best when they have a snug fit and there isn't any extra room on them. If you have really fat lobes you might want to get 5/16". Or it just depends on how you want them to fit.
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

Ok, that's what I thought. Thank you!
