Re: Going to start to stretch!

How did that one ear turn out so bad while the other one is fine? Just trying to get some tips, I really don't want that to happen to me. Do you think that I should go get pierced at a 16 since I have jewlery for that already and work myself down from there? I would feel better stretching myself instead of getting pierced at like a 10 and going from there. Thanks for the pictures, those all look horrible. Also one other question, do those skin colored hider plugs work well? Because if they do I will have no problem stretching to a like 0 or 00 and hiding it when I get an IT job.

Re: Going to start to stretch!

Yeah my right is that bad lol
and yes that was taken on the spot right after a shower.
my right ear had scar tissue since it was pierced.
and before when I was dumb, uninformed, and didnt do research, stretched with silicone at 7/16 and it got blown out.
and since I was at the time uninformed, I kept stretching.
thinking it would fix itself.
now, its far too late in the game to change/mend anything thats been done.
My left is fine cause it had no scar tissue, and just continued to stretch

Re: Going to start to stretch!

I decided I'm going to go to a shop and get it done. I kind of want to start at a 10g but I already bought 16g studs and a 12g taper so I don't want those to go to waste. I will let you know how it turns out.

If you go to a shop and get it done, you should just go as big as you feel comfortable with.
It'll help keep you patient so that you don't rush in the beginning.

Re: Going to start to stretch!

I just called the nearest tattoo shop that does body piercings and he only starts at 16, so I guess I'm going to go with that. Thanks for all the helpful advice. I will let you all know how it goes.

Re: Going to start to stretch!

It's a little sketchy if the biggest they have is 16G; there are certain piercings (eyebrow, navel, genitals, etc.) that HAVE to be 14G and above or they'll reject. So I'd be a little scared of going to that shop. Maybe have a look online at the piercing portfolios of some other shops? It took me a while to find a good piercer in my area but I ended up finding the best one I could ask for.
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

Re: Going to start to stretch!

Oops, he said that, that is the only size he does in earlobes. Not just in all his piercings.
