Using Plastic Wrap for Ear Taping?

If you rinse off the plugs you're probably making the glue on the electrical tape spread out more, which would make your ears more exposed to it.

If people insist on using electrical tape, thats their own silly fault (thats normally more expensive too)

Oh my... lol Ive been using electrical tape to stretch for a while now and i have had no problems( i do realize that sum people may have reactions to it) As long as u take out ur electrical tape wrapped plugs every day and rinse them u will be fine. And no its not expensive at all, i got 3 rolls of electric tape for 1 dollar. PTFE was readily available for me to use, but the problems with it is it just makes u pissed off. It crinkles, The edges turn up when u try to put it in ur ear. It fuckin absorbs jojoba oil and gets all nasty. Just in general its a frustrating thing to use. Electric tape goes on perfect, no trouble. Takes 5 seconds to put a new wrap as opposed to like 10 mins with PTFE.

I've always used PTFE and I've never had those problems. I wouldn't bother with it too if I had those problems.

naw lol , u rinse them with water and then wipe em off with a tissue. The glue only comes off the edges after a couple of days if u dont clean em. If u rinse and wipe em then there will be no glue.

electrical tape adhesive contains TCP which is a neurotoxin often found in runoff in jetfuel, you can just wipe it off as it seeps through the microtears caused by stretching and in the long term will give you unhealthy nasty lobes

I've been using cling wrap to stretch my ears for a while now and I must say it works flawlessly. It clings great and doesn't hurt your ears. It's cheap and doesn't ruin your jewelry. If you're worried about it sticking to your ears, it doesn't. Lube it up well before stretching and you'll have no problems. I definitely recommend it.

Also, do NOT use electrical tape in your ears. If you believe that just wiping away the glue gets rid of it, you are wrong. Your ears are absorbing harmful toxins. It's a stupid decision. Don't make it.

i was at 5/8s inch for a few months and decided to tape and used PTFE within 3 or 4 daysi had done about a 10 wrap and deicided to get a 3/4 taper as a tester for my size (i was taping on a double flare with 3/4 inch outer flares) and it went right through i was a 1/16 of an inch higher then the 3/4 im now at a 3/4 using the taper for as few days for some weight to keep it loose emu oil every night and bio oil in the morning and my ears are thicker then when i was at a 00g this has worked wonders

PTFE is amazing its rly cheap i got 50 yards for 2 dollars its worth it for sure

In laymans terms, if you use a PVC based plastic wrap you could transfer toxins into your system, however if you use LDPE plastic wrap there shouldn't be any risks (other than struggling to cut the shit just to put it on your plug )

Cling wrap is porous, it has to be in order to be microwavable otherwise it would burst. How would one even manage wrapping it around a little plug? Creative thought though.
