Ear angles

Hey
I've got two healthy ears at 20mm which I am happy about, but they both face weird angles and was wondering if there was anything I could do about it?

At the moment, when i put plugs in, the bottom of the lobe is further back than the top so they kinda face downwards a little. They also face forwards quite a bit.

I'd prefer it if they kinda looked like this Image
angled upwards slightly and flatter against my head.

This only became a problem once i reached 14mm, they were perfectly fine before that and I made sure to stretch every two weeks at minimum.

I'm planning on going to 22mm sometime soon as i've been at 20 for over two months, so I was wondering if anyone had any tips? Thanks

Re: Ear angles

Do you have a picture of yourself? im having trouble picturing what you're describing. If you're talking about what some people call the "dumbo effect" (ie you're ears sticking out more) that's pretty usual in larger sizes and there isnt anyrthing you can do about it

Re: Ear angles

Thanks for the reply :), sorry, I don't actually have a picture of my ears which shows it!
But for example, Matt Nicholls has ears which are angled upwards, where the front of the plug faces up slightly

And mine are like kinda the opposite facing downwards, and I'm not sure why

Re: Ear angles

I dunno about that either... Unless the fronts are too heavy or something.
Maybe longer wearable plugs? When I wear too-long-plugs they make ears stick out and face upwards a bit like the picture. Maybe you could use that to your advantage somehow?

Re: Ear angles

Ah thanks guys
I think that might be it actually as when I have my 20mm in, I can pull the plug down and there is a considerable gap even though I haven't attempted stretching any bigger.
I'll buy some bigger plugs and see what happens!

Re: Ear angles

Completely unrelated, but I love Matt Nicholls. He's a sick drummer.
I feel like such a noob, because I don't have any piercings or tatts.

Have: The standard 20g, pierced with a gun, lobes.

Want: A couple tatts, 7/16 lobes maybe a lip piercing or two.

P.S. I'm an avid Harry Potter freak.
