2g to 0g

Okay, I've been at a 2g for 1 month, and 2 weeks. Now, i've been kind of experimenting with the 0g here and there after some showers. Mind you, this is a 0g stainless steel taper. Anyway. It gets right up to the point where its the actual 0g. And it's completely stuck, the ONLY WAY it will go in, is if I give it lots of force. It doesn't hurt, but I know it will if I force this thing through.

MY QUESTION IS... is this just due to the fact that I may be unlucky with the type of elasticity my ears have? Or will it be worth my while to wait MONTHS more? Ever since I've stretched to a 2g, I've been wearing stainless steel 2g tunnels... meaning there is no weight on my ears that are stretching it further beyond 2g to help me get to 0g.

What should I do? I'll even search for a 1g taper if I have to.

It's normal for your ears not to be ready after only 6 weeks; that's usually the minimum amount of time you should wait. 2G-0G is actually kind of like skipping a size; 2G is 6mm and 0G is 8mm, and if you compare the actual jewelry you can tell there's a HUGE difference. That's why I always recommend 1G. I used single-flare glass plugs to go from 2G-1G, didn't even need a taper. If you get some 1G plugs with rounded ends you'll probably be able to slide them right in. If not you can try taping.

I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

Re: 2g to 0g

Could I get a link to 1g tapers? They arent easy to find. I've found one on amazon, but it only comes with one, and really can't afford to buy two of them for $30 each. Anything that will help me get my ears up to a proper 1g size(7mm?) so i can get this 0g over with.

EDIT: These look really ridiculous, but some of the only things I can find, would I be able to stretch with these?

You don't need two tapers. All you need is one pair of plugs; 6mm-7mm is a pretty easy stretch for most people so you probably won't even need a taper if your ears are ready.
For 1G I got a pair of these: https://www.glasswearstudios.com/cgi-bi ... egory=7CFP

Sometimes you can find those in the "blemished" section of Body Art Forms but I just checked and they don't have any 7mm at the moment. I actually found one of my plugs there and ordered the other one from Glasswear Studios.
