What I meant was, even if they DON'T hire you because of race/disability/etc, they can still say they didn't hire you for whatever reason they want. Maybe they don't want a 6'4" black man working the counter in a baby clothing store. The sure as shit won't say no "no big black guys, sorry." they'll say "youre not what we're looking for."
Its kind of like how being nice to someone doesn't obligate them to be your friend.

If you are unlucky this sort of matters definitely make you sad. But remember one thing, getting a job is the primary factor. This stretching is not a major thing. So give more attention to job than doing this. After that you can do anything you want to do.

i think that people shouldn't hire other people just by the way they look, personality is the most important. if you have big lobes doesn't mean that you are a bad worker/person...

Yeah, if only we lived in a perfect world. I find it sad that people who are tattooed/pierced are discriminated against solely due to personal tastes. I've only ever gotten pierced and tattooed because I
wanted to, not to be different or rebellious or whatever else people think is the reasoning behind it.
Well, maybe things will change gradually over time and it'll become more widely accepted. In the meantime, I try not to be too butthurt over it because it was my choice.
