Good news, the swelling has gone down quite a bit today after a night of not sleeping on it. It's also not firm like it was yesterday. Trying not to touch it too much but I'm so glad to have a normal-ish ear again, haha. Downsizing to 2G was a really good idea, and tbh I'm actually kind of excited to be able to wear my earskins and all the other pretty stuff I still have for this size! I don't think I'll bother stretching again until the weather gets warmish; cold weather is awful for it.
I might've had a very minor infection because it was extremely swollen the night before last, but if I did it's gone/almost gone. But I never had any pus at all (just a little bit of lymph and brownish crusties) so I'm not positive I had one. Did three 5-6 minute sea salt soaks yesterday and I'll probably do one today. Sooo glad I have this under control now!

I downsized both because I don't want to be uneven. I guess I have a few of the same plugs in 2G and 0G so I could've kept the left one at that size, but I figured it might be beneficial in the long run. I think if I had uneven lobes it'd encourage me to stretch too fast.
Anyway, it's better today.

Or you have been too kind with them and now your ears are real pussies.

Nah, I've worn steel in brand new stretches before with no problems; I think the sharp edge of the eyelet cut my skin slightly on the way in. But my ears are totally fine now.
I'm waiting 'til the weather gets warmer before I stretch again, cold weather and stretching don't mix!
