one of the piercings doesn't go straight through ear?

My left ear is pierced straight through, so it's like -|- where the | represents the ear and the - is the earring. My right ear is different. It's like at an angle instead of straight through. I didn't notice this until recently. I was cleaning out my ears and checking out the holes, I could see through the left one just fine but the right one, i had to angle my ear a bit to see. Should I be worried?

Were they done with a gun? That happens to a lot of people; those things are cheaply made and the people using them have very little experience. If you're going to stretch I'd suggest having it re-pierced with a needle, maybe at a larger gauge.

My ears is just like that. My wife pierced my ears with an 8g needle. My left ear is perfectly fine, but the right one is on a slight angle. It didn't affect my 6g stretch at all, and I haven't moved to 4g yet. Honestly, if you're not planning to stretch too big, it shouldn't matter. I'm only going to 0g and I don't see it causing any problems. No one has even noticed it but myself. My wife hasn't even noticed it and she's in my face more than anyone else.

They were done with a gun, but it was a couple of years ago. Will they still heal up? I was planning on stretching to about 1/2". I'm at an 8g right now
