Wrinkled Holes

I need some advice and some tips. My lobes are at 4G right now. About a week ago I tried to stretch to 2G. The taper went in fine for my right ear but I had resistance and a little pain with my 2G but I was dumb and pushed through it and put the 2G plug in. Later that night it was really sore so I took the 2G plugs out and downsized back to 4G. There was no broken skin, blowouts, or bleeding. The next day I was looking at the holes after I took my plugs out and noticed that my holes were a little wrinkly on the inside of the holes and that they close up pretty quickly when I take them out. And I know it's because I've stretched too fast in the past. So I've decided since that day (Feb. 26th) that I would give it 3 months (to May 26th) and treat it as if it was a bad stretch and try to stretch to 2g again on that day. I'm also allowing myself that much time also to try to help my holes. So my questions are, is there anything that should do besides wait 3 months and do vitamin e oil massages everyday? or am I making some kind of mistake?

Also, my holes aren't wrinkled just from this past stretch, they've been this way for awhile now.

You're treating it right, about the only thing you can do beyond what you already are is wait even more time. Saline soak if you feel you need to, but likely you really don't. Just keep it up and see how they stand in three months, you can always wait longer if you're unsure about their readiness.

Also, teflon taping? You might like that much more than tapers at your current size.
