Whats the science behind stretching and healing? If nothing tears, rips or blows out the what is there to heal? I mean i know that your ears need time to actually stretch and have your plugs move around freely in your ear. But what am i waiting for after that?

Once the plugs are loose in the lobe what am i waiting for when people say i still need time for my ears to heal?

Im not trying to be an asshole im just curious to find out what is actually healing.

Thanks again!

Micro tears. Your skin is being forced to stretch to a bigger size, and in doing so, you create micro tears that shouldn't bleed, hurt, pus, lymph, or anything like that, but the fistula needs time to heal the micro tears and strengthen to be able to handle the next series of micro tears.

ah got it thanks! So if ive only waited one week between 14g,12g,10g which i know you shouldnt do. then i should slow it down. If i wait now 4 weeks between stretches is there still a chance of cattbutt lobes?

There's still a chance, of course, since you've already stretched too fast with those stretches. Also, 4 weeks is really pushing it, you SHOULD be waiting about 6 weeks or more, realistically. I know it sucks being patient, but your lobes will love you for it.
