First stretch - Jewellry advice

Hey people! I stretched my left ear for the first time yesturday, to 2mm. Now i purely went off the advice from my brother. I've used a stainless steel taper but what my brother has neglected to tell me, which i have now found out, is that it's best to put some jewellry is straight away and not leave the taper in. I started stretching on the Sunday just gone but living in the middle of no where means i will have to buy the jewellry online which will hopefully be here for the weekend. So first of all, do you think a week of wearing the taper will be ok? And secondly, any recommendation of what type of jewellry to wear (tunnel, plug, material) will be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot people.

At that size you will be fine to wear the taper until jewellery comes in the mail, they're still fairly short and light, just be careful as it can get knocked around in your sleep and that can cause irritation and tears.

I'd suggest any kind of jewellery, in either Stainless Steel or Titanium. Glass is also great, but I don't think you can get it in that size
