first off stop rushing this is not a race ... 8ga to 2 ga is way way to big of a jump , Im sure I wont be able to convince you to down size but please at the very least slow down .. 3weeks is not nearly enough time to recover from a stretch like that .. your ears need to heal for like 3 months before you even think about moving up .. then I would either buy a 1 ga and wear that for a month or 2 then go to zero ...or you could tape up your 2 ga .. either way the slower you go the smaller jumps you take the healthier your lobes will be .. just cause your ear isnt beeding doesnt mean its all the way healed . your skin needs time to thicken and get strong enough to actually stretch other wise you are just ripping your ear each time in essence re piercing and re healing it each time .. stretching should never hurt or bleed and shouldnt require any more force than changeing to a new pair of plugs .. good luck in the future and please take your time its better to go slow and have plump healthy large ga holes then to rush it and have large ga holes that are thin mishapped and look like a dead worm when you take out the plugs .. good luck and please slow down

Thanks, but i guess i should have been more specific, lol. I didnt jump from an 8g directly to a 2g, I went in order from an 8g, 6g, 4g, 2g. I know its a slow process, do you know where to find a 1g because i cant seem to find one any where, again thanks for your input.

3 weeks isnt enough time for your ears to strengthen up and be ready to stretch again. wait a few more weeks/months at 2g then go onto 1g. you can find 1g plugs in online stores like bodyartforms.com and bodyjewelryshop.com

i was never able to go from a 4g to 2g without difficulty, so i had to tape up, but i got to a 4 to a 0 in about a week and a half, taping is honestly faster and so much easier.
