o ring tip

Hi guys not sure if this is where I should post this but i came up with a little trick and I thought id share .. I despise ugly black o rings but I know they are completely needed with certain jewelry .. for ex: I have some lovely light pink glass cross over twists but there is no way Im gonna spoil their delicate look with icky black o ring .. so I went to every shop in town and they had no clear o rings .. i know I could order online but I dont wanna pay 99 cents for the 4 o rings then have to pay 5 $ shipping ..that seems a bit much ..... so any way I got myself a legnth of oxygen tubeing and its perfect ! I can cut out limitless clear o rings and I can make them as thick or thin as I choose .. i have 6 ga and im pretty sure the tubeing I have will work for 4 ga aswell anything larger ill have to get larger tubeing which should be no problem cause it comes in quite a few sizes ... any way just a tip ..I was wondering what you guys thought of it ... happy stretching

hmmm, sounds like it just might work. may have to try it. hate o rings so much. most my jewelry is double flared but i do have the cutest lil plugs that just happen to have the crappiest o rings on them. =) i'll let u know if it works out 4 me.
