Ear problem, help ASAP please
So a few days ago i stretched my ears to an inch, everything went smoothly, (no pain or anything)or so i thought. I slipped silicone tunnels in without a problem (yes i know that they tend to cause problems) but then after a few hours i decided i should wait for my ears to completely heal and i took them out, putting my metal tunnels back in. Since then, this giant bubble-like thing formed on my left that hurt like a mug, and my inner lobe was peeling and red/raw. So, i completely took my plugs out for a few days cause i figured it would be the best thing to do after it healed, and i could just re stretch back up depending on how much my ears shrunk. Well today i got home from work and checked on my ear in the mirror, slightly moving it, when it began to bleed like crazy. After i applied pressure to it and the bleeding stopped, i noticed the bump slightly shrank. So, in conclusion, i have no idea what went wrong with my ear nor what the heck is wrong with it. Could it be a blood blister in my lobe? an infection maybe? or possibly just an allergic reaction to silicone? Idk, but i'm hoping someone may have the answer. (P.S. i have been doing SSS's and rubbing them with jojoba oil) (P.S.S also my messed up ear has shrunk down a lot since i took my plugs out so i don't think my scar tissue has been torn)
Re: Ear problem, help ASAP please
I have this problem as well sumtimes, it could be cause by alot of things, one is that ur ear is dry an the skin cracked causing bleeding kinda like chapped lips, another is maybe u accidently tore it when u stretched an when u remove ur plugs it is releiving the pressure from the cut causing the bleeding. Either that or ur ears are reacting to the silicone u had in. I personally can only wear silicone for a couple days before putting steel ones in because silicone absorbs moisture an irratates ur ears, not to mention it is porous an not sterile so in a fresh stretch infection is quite comon when using silicone. just let ur ears rest then once they no longer hurt to touch, put in whatever plugs fit an then since u stretched them already the tissue will be stronger an ur ears will be more ready for the stretch again when u finally get back to an inch. taping would be a good idea at this point if u arent already doing so. An if u dont clean ur plugs regularly u can get infections from the dirt sticking to the dead skin cells on ur plugs, sumtimes hair can get caught in them to an cause pain. Hope this helps

Just to add something, don't be rubbing it with any kind of oil while there's damaged tissue. Rubbing is just going to make it more irritated... keep doing the salt soaks and never touch/mess with it for any reason. Also make sure your soaks aren't too salty.
