So I stretched from 12g to 10g with a taper and oil and for two weeks everything was fine. After about to two weeks my left hole got got tight and a little sore. I asked my piercer and she said it was probably just a little irritated and to up my number of SSS. I did and for a week it was fine. I went back to my normal cleaning schedule after a week because everything felt cool. Then I started using jojoba oil for the first time ever and for three or four days it my ears were fine. Now both ears are really tight around the piercing, but not sore.
Anyone have an idea as to whats up? Please?

Are you still using the oil regularly?

I stopped because I thought it might a reaction to the oil, but my ears area about the same.

My best advice would be go back to the sss if it helped and made you feel better before it prob will work again.

Could it be the material of the plugs giving you a bit of a reaction?

Try emu oil instead, it is really good for irritation.

Thanks for the advice, I'll try the emu oil. I'm using the 316L stainless steel horseshoes, which I've never had a reaction to.
