Ok so basically, im pretty new to stretching, but have done a shit load of research and am taking stuff super slow.

I went to a piercer first off but think they were giving me bs advice so im gonna stretch myself from now on.

So i was wondering, do you all stretch yourself? If so, where do you buy your tapers and jewellery and what would u recommend? Im starting to think that steel really is the only option.

Also, im currently doing sea salt soaks and was thinking of buying some oils too, so what oils do u recommend and where do you get them?

If there are any australians in this forum that would probably help too haha

You can stretch with acrylic tapers, but the jewellery should be steel, titanium or glass. And once you've used steel tapers, you'll hate acrylic. Steel is just MUCH easier.

After that (about 4g for me) I used PTFE tape and plenty of lube, but I guess you won't need to be thinking about that for a while

Jojoba oil is a almost a must (they sell it on there too), its naturally full of Vit e, which is good at reducing scar tissue. New bottles apparently don't leak either!
I also LOVE Holey Butt'r, smells a bit like potting shed, but its like chapstick for my ears, and great when I'm out and its cold and they look a little flakey. Just lives in my purse.

Apparently postage to Aus is usually 2-3 weeks.

I always think stretching is the one mod that should be done by yourself. Only you can tell what hurts and when to stop, piercers just have to shove it in and hope, lol. Plus, so many good piercers are full of AWFUL stretching advice.
