taping plug question
taping plug question
okay so right now im at 12mm and i want to tape up to 19mm, is it okay to do that with acrylics? I have one pair of steel as well if that's better. before i start i figured i would ask. I;m gonna go and get ptfe tape and im gonna wrap a layer or two a day i think it is? correct me if i am wrong anyone with experience taping any help would be appreciated.

Yep, taping acrylic is fine because it's the tape, not the acrylic that actually touches your ears.
There's no set amount of wraps you can do per day; just don't do more than your lobes can handle. Some people can do two at a time, other people might be able to do one every other day. Just make sure you take a break between sizes just like you would with tapers.
