black o-rings

Does any one else have problems with the black o-rings? My ears will be completely healed from a stretch but as soon as I put those on to wear single flared plugs my ears are instantly irritated to the point where I have to take them off. It's a big pain, since it keeps me from being able to wear a lot of jewelry. I'm guessing it's just some kind of allergy.

You may be allergic to the rubber in your o-rings, I've never had any problems with them though. Try wearing double flares?

I'd assume you could be allergic to them. I've found that when I wear single flared/no flare jewelry I don't even put the orings on anymore.
If I were you I would just not even worry with them because they can be hurtful in the long run.

I have never had a problem with them, but sometimes peoples bodies just react differently to things. Get some screw on plugs maybe?

The most common black o-rings are made of nitrile and a lot of people are allergic to it. I would suggest getting some silicone o-rings, not only are they less allergenic, but they also come in a variety of colors.

Yeah I've got some screw on tunnels right now, they just get a little boring. I am going to order some of the silicone rings though, thanks.
