From what i hear your not suppose to use tapers as your main strechers as they cause trauma and uneven ear lobes or something... but why and how?
Also - How do ears even strech? My friend had attached ear lobes and we all wondered if it was even possible to strech them and he's at 7/16's or something like that. Where did that skin come from, or is that really the elasticity of the ears in the works? And how far could he continue to strech.
I just dont get it... been on my mind all day.

The tapers put pressure because at bigger sizes it gets big so fast. you can use tapers if you use insertion tapers because they are really long and very slowly expand to a larger gauge. and your friend can go as big as he wants as long as his lobe is plump and juicy lol. if theyre thin he should stop. and rub jojoba, emu, or vitaman e oil on his ears until they thicken up like 2 or 3 times a day

I dont know that any of that really answered my questions...
But i've already forgotten about the tapers, just dont care but the ear streching one tolls.
There must be extra skin when streching that is used but that doesnt make sense becuase it would have to come from somewhere. I thought about it like a ball of dough and you roll it and there is more surface area but ear lobes are small to begin with and they dont thin out like rolled dough or else they tear. But ive seen ears that have been streched beyond belief.

I think the skin itself gets streched but you body fills the insides of your ears with the things necessary to be able to strech but this would have to mean that ears are elastic as F***. hmmm

skin is elastic, it just stretches. thats how people get those thin lobes because they stretch elastic skin too quick and when elastic things get stretched out too fast its like a rubber band, if you stretch it it thins out and eventually if you keep pulling they break. but ears unlike rubber become thick again after stretched and are able to stretch again. There is no extra skin.

your body builds more tissue , think about tissue expanders used before major surgeries .. its like a balloon under the skin slowly they add water each day and the balloon fills and the tissue grows .. the eras are the same way
