Help. My blowout healed outside my ear. =3

Hey guy's, so I've been stretching my left ear for about 2 years now, and am at 3/4" now. Going from a 0 to a 00 I blew my ear out, as the shop I went to gave me the wrong size taper and I, not knowing put it though. (It was a 000.) I downsized to a 0 for a bit, let my ear heal, bought a new taper (I know, should have taped, but alas, it's too late to change the past) and went on my way. Recently I've noticed that my ear healed blown out, and that it has an unsightly lip. There's not pain when stretching, no redness and no swelling, its healthy alive skin, it's just now outside my ear. I've tried downsizing and it hasn't helped. Any advice, or should I just buy a double flare tunnel and learn to live with it?

i would get a pair of no flared or double flaired plugs and rub vitamin e oil on you ear 2 times a day and use the tucking method where you push the blowout back into your ear after you have oiled it. this usually will help even after you have healed a blowout. if it doesnt you either get it surgically removed or yes live with it

I wouldn't put anything in the piercing. Go naked for a solid 4-6 months, doing oil massages daily. Once you've given your lobe a good long while to heal, reassess and see what the blowout looks like. If the blowout has reseated back into the ear, pull out one of your older plugs at a size that fits comfortably in your ear and carefully work your way back up, slowly.

If the blowout is still there and you're not happy with it, you should seriously consider having it removed. Ultimately, it is up to you as to whether you can save the piercing or not at this point.

While you are healing, invest in some calipers or, at least, in a gauge wheel. This way, you can measure the tapers and jewelry you are going to put in your piercings, to ensure they are the correct size.

i have heard the tucking methood can work but I thought it was only for fresh blow outs ?? good luck I hope it works out for you
