Help, asymetrical streching?

Hey guys, and girls...

I had regular piercings on my left ear for 3 months, and I stretched it to about 0g, (couldn't wait to get right ear pierced), and then I decided it was stupid, so I downsized back to a normal size piercing, in about a week.. I pierced my right ear finally, and the concern I have is that, it's higher than my left ear, for some reason.. just barely.. I started stretching both ears, too about 10g, and I put a small plug in after the stretchs, and I feel like my right ear has more cartilage than my left ear, and my left ear seems way healthier than my right ear, or that it's that it's fully healed, compared to my right ear.. But than again, it doesn't hurt when stretching..

So, I'll just say that my right ear is alittle higher than my left ear, and I plan on going to 00g, maybe 7/16 1/2", and I having concerns that it might look weird, or asymetrical, and off.. My friends say it doesn't matter when stretching but.. my left ear seems to point straight, while my right points up, ( because it's alittle higher )

Please let me know what I should do, should I repierce, or leave it as is.. if I repierce, i'll have to wait another month before stretching again, which I don't mind. (Also, is there any other alternative to vitamin e oil for healthy ears, I don't have any sea salts, or anything, that I know of.. lemme know..)

if you guys need a pic, please just ask.

So many things said here that are so concerning...

First, you had one ear pierced and in the course of the three months following the piercing you stretched to 0g? Also, why not wait? What's the rush? Your ears will still be there when both lobes are pierced.

Also, you shouldn't stretch right after you've had a piercing done. You should really wait 5-6 months before starting to stretch a piercing. This is so the piercing is not only healed enough to change jewelry, but it has started to replace any residual scarring with soft tissue and you move through the remodeling phase of fistula formation.

Regarding the piercings being uneven... First, did you have a professional piercer do your work or did you go to the mall and have your ear gunned? Second, because you stretched the fistula on your left ear I'm sure it was difficult to gauge how to position the other piercing to ensure your ears were even.

That said, it is probably hard for you to gauge what your right ear will do once you start stretching it. I would find a good, professional piercer in your area and get their opinion on whether you should repierce or, if you can work with what you have. Bear in mind, the likelihood you'll be able to repierce your left lobe is pretty low, since you stretched it to a 0g, and did it so soon after the initial piercing.

After all of this is said, nobody is going to be able to give you a worthwhile opinion without seeing your ears first. If you post a picture it would help.

Finally, as far as oil for healthy lobes, most people talk about vitamin e oil and jojoba. If you are looking for an easy-to-find alternative, you can use olive oil as well. It is a gentle, nutrient-rich oil. It is also more likely to clog the pores on your skin, so you need to be mindful of that. There are refined olive oils you can buy in the skin-care aisle which are meant for dermatological use. These will, likely, be easier on your skin, but I've never used them.

Regardless, you should wait until your ears are COMPLETELY healed before applying oil to them or massaging them. At the end of the day, the specific GENTLE oil (no tea tree oil, for instance) you choose is less important than the massage. Massaging the tissue will encourage blood flow. This will help to thicken your lobes and reinforce the fistula remodeling.

TL;DR

1. Go to a good, professional piercer
2. Take their advice
3. Don't rush
4. Let your ears heal
5. ???
6. Profit
