Stretching With Teflon Tape (PTFE)

Hey guys I’m just wondering I have plugs with O-Rings on them. One in the front of the plug and one on the back. Should I just take both the O-rings off the plugs and just tape the plugs with Teflon tape without the O-Rings on? And put them back in without the O-Rings? Because the O-rings are just a bitch to get on.

I have been taping my ears since 4g (currently at 0g), and I never used 0-rings. Just make sure you get enough tape on the plug so it will fit snugly in your ear without having to force it. Also make sure to lather it down with jojoba, emu, or vitamin e oil before inserting them into your ears.
