Tip for inserting smaller gauge ear skins

Hi guys I am currently at 4 ga and have my first pair of skins ! i love them but the only problem is they are tricky to get in and sometimes by the time i get them to go in my lobes are a lil pink from all the fussing .. so i dont wear them often .. I know that people wear them in 10 ga and 8 ga .. so im wondering How the F do they get these things in so i watched a few tutes about tweezers and ouch it sounded dangerous but then I happened apon this blog .. I know what you guys are gonna think when she firsts mentions straws but read on .. i think in a fully healed stretch this would be fine .. and I an def gonna try to find some small straws and try it

maybe no flare steel tunnels could work for this to and be even better for your ears and a good pair of no flare steel tunnels is good to have on hand anyway ......

Re: Tip for inserting smaller gauge ear skins

I tape the very ends of mine folded with ptfe tape twisting the excess tape, put them in and then pull the tape off. Usually I can do them with just my fingers though, now I dodn't have any stupid to get to ones; its just a bit of a fiddle/patience/practice.
I used to have to tape them onto tapers. Putting 8g ones UP your nose isn't that easy XD

I had earskins at 4G and it wasn't too bad... just roll them up as tightly as possible and put 'em though. Lube and a hot shower helps too!
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

My problem is I have long nails and once I fold them up they are hidden under my nails lol .. I got some no flare tunnels and tried her technique and it worked out great It cut my insertion time in half ! :) and I have a handy dandy pair of steel no flares now to :)

4 ga are deffinetly doable with out anything but this just makes it alot quicker and easier and i think its a great tip for those under 4 ga that wanna try ear skins

Lol 8g and 6g earskins are tricky to get in. I discovered I can put the on the end of a chopstick and then pop the end in like a regular plug and slide the chopstick out of the middle. Almost 0 effort that way. Lol

Pericings:
2g Lobes
6g Septum

Want:
Frenulum Linguae
Left inner conch
