ok so i recently taped up to 1g from 2g and i have been here almost two weeks. i was curious if it was safe to continue taping up to 0g after a month of being at 1g and then staying at 0g for a month and going on to 00g. this is as long as i am gradually taping 2 wraps every two days making me go up roughly 1mm every two weeks? is it ok to do it this way? if not what are the bads that can come from it? 00g is my stopping point and thats only if i am still not satisfied with 0g. so once at 00g i am staying there for a long while and plan on getting working to get rid off all scar tissue once there since i have some from my first attempt to go to 0g from 2g before i learned about 1g plugs lol

thanks for any help logan

If you're not having any pain or resistance it's alright, but just don't force it. You should really stop taping for a while once you reach each size.

I would really wait linter than a month before going up to 0g, especially if you have scar tissue that is causing problems. I would suggest you start working on eliminating the scar tissue and then stretching further. Generally it takes several months to have noticeable results from massaging your lobes.

I guess what I'm trying to say is fix the problem then stretch. Hurrying up to get to a goal size will only exacerbate the problem you already have.

As a side note, something you might consider doing to help our ears eliminate scar tissue faster is massage your lobes (with your jewelry out, of course) and then leave your jewelry out for anywhere from half an hour to several hours to encourage good bloodflow. I do this even though I don't have any issues I am specifically trying to resolve. I can see my lobes are happier for it.

Good luck!

thats the most annoying part of stretching to me to is the cost lol ( something i never reserched before I started was price doh!) and thats one of the reasons that Im only gonna stay at 4 ga maybe some day ill go to 2 ga( no bigger due to my preferance for hangies ) but Im making myself stay at 4 ga for at least a year so I can get use out off all my jewelry lol ive invested well over 100 $ in 4 ga plugs and hangies and My fiance is buying me 2 sets that are like 60 $ each so I wanna wear them for a loooong time so its not a waste of money
