Honestly, if I were you I'd go back to 3mm. You should never skip even one size, let alone two.
You should definitely not use alcohol or any harsh solution to clean them. Keep doing your sea salt soaks, but make sure they're no saltier than 1/4 teaspoon per one cup of water.

i have no clue why they havn't healed up my jump from 3mm - 6mm was fine with no blowouts. i suggest leaving them out and using some type of skin care oil like Jojoba Oil or Bio oil. if they dont heal let it close up and restart

to be honest its worth it to take them out and let them heal and restretch. it will be better for you in the long run . there i no rush . take her slow and steady. and also use some polysporin it helps a lot. good luck man !

Vitamin e oil can help, but it is more about the massaging and getting good bloodflow. As you massage your ears and let them heal, over time the scar tissue will break down and you may notice an in erase in elasticity in your ears. The amount of success and change over time will. Art from person to person, but I've seen people get some really good results over time when they do daily vitamin e oil massages and let their ears rest and heal. : )
