I'm currently trying to stretch both my holes on my ear lobes. My 1st holes are up to 4G and my 2nd are at 6G. I haven't had any problems until my 2nd hole on my right ear went all crazy on me. The first time I tried to stretch it (from 8G), it was fine for a week and then started hurting for a month. I went back to 8G for a month, then tried again. That time it got a really bad infection, so I went back down to 8G.
Last week I put in a tapered 6G, no pain for 4-5 days, no sign of infection. Now it started hurting again. There is no swelling, redness or discharge. The pain doesn't get better or worse. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
I'm sorry if I didn't explain things very well. Thanks for reading.

Re: Continuous pain but no infection
Yeah when i was at a 8g something like that happened to me.
I hate acrylic tapers in which isn't a good idea and one of my ears got really sore and hurt and when i took it out it look really gross and had a lot of nasty stuff in it.
So yours might still be infected, take your taper out and check your ear for any infections.
