Ear stretching

So ive been restretching my ears for a while and since i started again they seem to tilt upwards. putting them almost horizontal. this never happened before anyone know why or have similar experience?

Ive heard wearing tapers as jewelry for to long can cause your ears to heal at odd angles .. I dont know how true that is but its what I have heard ... it could also just be the way your ears are meant to be shaped
