LUMP on the back of my ears, is it a blowout?

Hi, I've recently stretched from 8g to 6g, waited for a bit more than a week in-between (i know im stretching way too quick...but i thought my ears felt quite comfortable to be stretched)

anyways, when i was stretching, my left ear felt alright, but i had some trouble putting the plug in my right ear, and i ended up kind of forcing it in.

it have been fine for like 2 days, but then it started leaking some liquid and blood, and i realize there is red lump behind my right ear...is it because of a blowout?

thanks

i'll be posting up pics soon...

That lump looks like an abscess, not a blowout. Still definitely not good.

Forcing jewelry is never a good idea. It can cause tears which can lead to other issues. I would stay at the smaller size for a good 2-3 months and let your ear heal. Once it is healed, then you can start thinking about stretching again. Consider using the taping method next time so you can stretch slowly and give your fistula a chance to relax.

In the meanwhile, keep an eye on that lump. If it stays the same or gets worse you should consider seeing a doctor. They can properly diagnose it and give you the best treatment.

Best of luck!
