I just had my 6g stretched to a 00g yesterday.
I have had my 6g for about 3 years and just decided to up it.
I am a bit worried about the aftercare. When i had it done it had the usual tingling pain and a lil stinging afterwards.
I have some questions that im unsure about.
1. When should i actually take out the flesh tunnel to clean?
2. How should i clean it? i have read up abit on cleaning but i couldnt get my hands on sea salt so i used table salt for the 1st 3 cleanings. Is this ok?
4. When can i stop worrying myself of infections?
5. I just had them done and i know there will be a stinging pain but how long should it last?
When i had my 6g done i skipped from a 18g also. i never had problems at all. I kept it in or 5-7 days brfore actually taking out the taper then and washed once a day forgot with what though.
Hope someone can help me out.
thanks.

Re: Skipped sizes
well you probably shouldnt have skipped sizes but whats done is done my advice is to get some sea salt - (you can get it at the grocery store ) table salt is very bad for it and can cause alot of problems

Re: Skipped sizes
The only thing I would recommend doing is going back to 6G. But if you absolutely refuse to do that, treat them like brand new piercings. Table salt is okay to use temporarily but get sea salt as soon as you can. It's also very important that your soaks aren't too salty (no more than 1/4 teaspoon per cup of water). Don't take out the tunnels until they're healed or you might delay healing/cause irritation. Infections are very rare (when most people think they have infection it's usually just an irritated or pissed off piercing) so don't worry about that too much.
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

Thats a huge skip on both of your stretches! Yeah Treat it like a normal piercing if your going to do that, all the advice has already been given that I had, but I would like to see a pic of your lobes naked, because im imagining there pretty torn up.
