Strange question: Has stretching ever affected your hair??

Sorry if this sounds a bit random but I'm running out of ideas!

Recently my hair has started to feel really lank and greasy, almost as if there is some sort of wax product on it. I wash my hair every day so it's always clean. I've tried different shampoos and conditioners, I've tried just leaving my hair to dry naturally but nothing seems to help. And it's not the water as my flatmate's hair is fine.

The only other thing I can think that may be causing it is the fact that I'm stretching my ears. Is that just crazy or has anybody else found that ear trauma has affected their hair?

I'm starting to really worry about

Are you doing oil massages and then touching your hair, maybe?

Nope, definitely not that. It feels like there's some sort of waxy feel to it as soon as I've finished washing it although it's as clean as it could be. :?:
