What size should i go to?

Im at 8mm or 0G atm, im unsure weather to stay at 8mm, go to 10mm (00G) or even 12mm (1/2 Inch).
I think 12mm is a really good looking size, but ill probably want my piercing to shrink back to a standard or near standard piercing eventually.

Actually 00 is 9 mm (rounded) and 1/2 is 13 mm (rounded).

9mm can be 00G too, especially because there shouldn't be a 2mm jump between 0G and 00G.

And if you want your piercing to shrink, I wouldn't risk stretching anymore... Any size you go to should really be considered permanant since there's no guarantee that they'll shrink. Some people say 2G or 0G is the "point of no return" but it's different for everyone.

Yeah ear stretching doesn't really take on that certain "look" until you reach 1/2", which sucks because you obviously have to go past the point of no return. My real world experience though has shown me that its really not THAT big of a deal when you go past the point of no return. I've seen kids at school with rather large (bigger than 00) stretches take them out and then have them go down to a much less noticeable size after a while.

My personal opinion is to take the risk, life's too short.

Personnally, I prefer to be myself and do what I want when I'm young, then be an ugly creepy old woman (haha XD) rather than having a boring youth... and no funny story to tell when I'll be old... haha.

Plus with the new Billionaire video all the little pre-teens see travie's ears and think its cool. People are starting to grow up around stretched ears, it wont be as big of a deal in the future.
