So I just did my 5mm stretch today. I've waited several weeks between the last and this.

I put in my taper (stainless steal) after a shower and jojoba oil all over it. I then pushed and it went through with a tiny little sting. Well then the stainless steel tunnel just wouldnt go through. It locked onto the indent at the end of the taper and when measured with digital calipers was the correct size. I ended up having to try several times and then more oil and like work them in.

Now that they're done, my ears really hurt! I'm waiting at least 3-6 months before I even contemplate 6mm now.

For future stretching I would look into the taping method. It is more gradual and kinder to your lobes.
