Why is Vaseline a bad lubrication to stretch your with?

Hi, I'm new at stretching I'm currently at a 3mm and I'm stretching to a 4mm I was using Vaseline to stretch but someone told me that using it is a bad idea. So I was wondering why Vaseline is a bad choice of lubricant, and also what could I use instead of Vaseline
Thanks :)

Vaselin is a petroleum based product and it will infect your ears it tends to stay in globed and it can become difficult to get out at smaller sizes

Oils like vitamin E, jojoba, and emu oil are the best thing to use. You CAN use water-based sex lube but it doesn't really have any of the benefits that the oils do. You should also massage your ears with the oil every now and then to break down scar tissue and keep your ears moisturized.
