Earlobe bleeding

So I just stretched my ears from a 4 to a 2 yesterday and now my left earlobe is bleeding. I have no clue what to do. I had my 4's in for about 3 months. My right ear is fine and doesn't hurt at all but my left one is bleeding, swollen and tender. I but in a 6 gauge in my left ear for the mean while but I still don't have a clue if that was the right thing to do. I'm just wondering if someone could help me please.

edit: massaging your lobes with your preferred oil helps promote blood flow and healing (once it's stopped bleeding of course)
