Down Sizing help?

I was at 1" 3/8 two weeks ago and I got tired of having huge holes in my ears (along with it becoming a fad in my area) and now I want to go roughly around a 2g. My ears are at about 3/4 now and was wondering if there was any way to speed up the process besides waiting it out.

I have 100% Australian Tea Tree Oil I used on my wood plugs a while back and heard that may help but I'm not really sure. Replies would be appreciated

taking out your jewelry and doing daily massages is a good way to shrink them up a bit faster. and someone one here i believe said preparation h works wonders (LOL i dont know either). really it depends on your ears. some people's ears never shrink back down, even though they only stretched to a smaller size. because you are wanting to only go to a 2g instead of the entire piercing closing, i don't think you will have as big of a problem.

My friend had his ear this size, he removed them and now they are at like, 14mm. (he don't wear plugs)
So I don't really think you will be able to shrink to 2g (6mm)...

I have seen alot of preparation H and neosporin work wonders to close.

Also, if you have a plug that will fit very tightly (to the point of pain) in your ear... you can wear it for a day then remove it. It's almost as if your ear is shocked by the stretch.. but with nothing to hold on to your ear shrinks even faster.

Dont quote me on that but I tried it and it worked for me. ;)

Eee, that sounds a bit risky.

Removing the jewellery and doing massages would definitely be the better option.

I agree. I think you would be better off having naked lobes for a while.

one my friends said he used sandpaper to scrap the insides of his lobes an it caused it to heal closer together everytime.

I don't think there are any real "tricks" to get your ears to shrink, TBH if you weren't 100% sure you wanted to be at that size forever you should not have gone to 1 3/8". All you can really do is leave your jewelry out and hope for the best, or get surgery.

My boyfriend's lobes look like they're at about 2G right now and he hasn't worn jewelry in them for a few years. I think he was only at like 1/2" at the biggest and now they won't go any smaller. So yeah, stretching is usually pretty permanant.

Inducing the stretch by "shocking" your ears really does work.. it's not risky either. It puts em' into heal mode! Then massage with shea butter and emu oil after!
