Is this a blowout?

Was wondering if anyone could assist me in telling me if I blew out my ear or not.

And if it is, should i downsize to 00? I am currently at 7/16.

Re: Is this a blowout?

yes that definitely looks like a blow out. I would downsize a size or immediately if I were you to relieve pressure and do sea salt soaks and oil massages to help heal it. Are you experiencing any pain?

You might wanna go even smaller, that looks like a bad one. It would heal much faster the smaller you go, so I'd put in whatever just barely fits. Saline soaks, emu oil, insert a single flared plug backward to encourage the tissue back inside the piercing. Baby that sucker for months and months. Don't plan on stretching for a long time, and when you do, go through each size again, waiting longer than you did before. Because even if it heals well, it will likely always be a little weaker.
