I recently stretched my left ear to a 2g with my right ear at 4..... Anyhow, I figured it was time to stretch my right ear to a 2 except I am having huge difficulties..The taper only goes in about half way (with skin lotion on it) and it hurts like a bitch.. I tried 2 weeks ago and it was an epic fail with some blood also...And it still is a fail.. I've had the taper in overnight (probably ffor about 29 hours or so) and still no progress..
Any ideas of why my right ear isnt cooperating or any tips?
Thanks!

Re: Ear Stretching Help!
I had the same problem going from 10-11mm.
All I can really say is time is your friend, I'd stay at a 4g for at LEAST a month then try it again...because the more and more you try...the harder stretching is going to be, scar tissue build up and all.
trying to stretch only two weeks after you tried and it hurt and bled isn't the best idea...You should wait at least a month (more then that even) between stretches...even if it goes perfectly.
Good luck, I know from experience when this happens its frustrating as hell!

Re: Ear Stretching Help!
Sorry I never replied to your message; it's been a hectic few days for me!
Anyway, most people do have a stubborn ear. Maybe you have more scar tissue in that ear from a piercing or something, or maybe it's just naturally un-stretchy. How long were you at 4G? Usually the solution for a stubborn ear is just to wait, wait, wait. If your ear was bleeding I'd leave it for a while; probably another month or so before trying again like lmg said. You could also try doing some oil massages once it's no longer sore (I'd recommend vitamin E oil or emu oil) to increase the elasticity of your ears. Also, I would advise against leaving a taper part of the way in because the back of your lobe might shrink around the smaller part of the taper and make it even harder to stretch. Plus tapers just get knocked around too easily and can cause irritation, so when you do stretch make sure you get some single-flared plugs.

I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!
