So I put in 2g tapers a week an a half ago. Then I had a basketball game and this referee made me take out my gauges. So after the game I tried putting my plugs in. I got the left one in but the right one was not budging. So I went to the mall that was close and got tapers of 2g because didn't have my tapers with me that I previously used. So i put the taper in and it hurt prett bad but I didn't shove it all the way. Only a far as it would go without hurting too bad. And it's really sensitive today (this all happened yesterday) and it hurts to touh it. I was wonderin if there is anything I can do to help my sore earlobe and to speed up the healing process. I have another game this Sunday and I got clear plugs so I wouldn't have to remove them again. Any advise is welcome and very much wanted!! Also any input on the new softwear gauges that hot topic sells?

If your ear is sore and irritated after going through that putting the 2g back in, it's probably better to just leave the jewellery in while you clean it. Do some sea salt soaks and see if they help (1/4 teaspoon of sea salt with 1 cup of warm water). Also if they're painful you can take some Ibuprofen to help.

Nice hot showers also help too. Just don't play with it too much as it could cause more irritation.
