4g Finally!! Sort of....

Well I got the taper through one ear
I've been trying to get the 4g taper through for like 2 weeks now, and everytime I tried it just wouldn't go through (still won't go through on the left ear). So I tried putting it in again on my right ear, there was some resistance although I could feel it "just" getting over the bit where the taper increases to the next gauge.

Sighing, i just left the taper in my ear, went back to browing the forums and playing with the lobe a bit, tugging it gently etc when all of a sudden I felt a little tug and I realized the taper had gone through.

OMG!! I was so happy ^_^ I had tried taping with PTFE but I found the tackiness of it sticking to my ear was making me paranoid that It would get stuck to me forever so I didn't do it o_o

Anyways, I'll have to leave the taper in for a while (don't worry it's stainless steel not acrylic), since the plugs I have for 4g are externally threaded screw ons, and I don't want to cut my ears when I put them through.

My ears will be uneaven for a while too, until my other ear decides it's ready for 4g as well, but I don't mind ^_^

Hey man! Great story, very enjoyable and im glad the taper slid through haha, sometimes you gotta give it time and it will go through. When you get to bigger sizes though try and stay away from tapers, everyone has their own ideas on using them but in my personal opinion taping is the safest, tapers may eventually cause blowouts because of the skin that is continually being pushed through the ear. but other than that dude that sound wicked! and we all have those sizes that our ears are off but it makes you feel that much better when they are same size and look great!
