Conch!!!! "]

Yesterday I got the single coolest piercing there is (in my eyes). I got my conch pierced at about 4.4mm (just bigger than 6g) and got a 4mm tunnel put in it. The tunnel is originally for a stretched lobe, but it fits all the same :L

More pictures to come in the pics section :D

Re: Conch!!!! "]

What's in there in the picture? Did they pierce it with a bunch of needles instead of one 6G needle? Anyway, congrats on the new piercing.
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

Yeah the place I went to used to do punching but it was really unpopular so they stopped, he just put in 4 needles instead :L He told me it was three though :/
Thanks very much :D I'm so happy with it cause it hasn't bled or anything =] But it was the single most painful experience of my life :L :L I think I'm just going to get one more and then stop =[

Whoa, I've never heard of anything like that... he should have just used one 4mm needle... I wouldn't go back to that piercer TBH! But hopefully it'll heal well and you won't have any problems.

Thanks! =] I hope so too :L

The piercer DID say it was a really barbaric way of doing it, but it was perfectly safe :L I was ok for him to go ahead with it, but it was the sorest thing I've ever done :/ He just put in four needles (I think it was a 1.6mm and 3x 1.2mm), rotated them a bit, and shoved the tunnel in :L Good fun really xD

Ouch, my ear hurts just thinking about it! I guess as long as everything was sterile it's not too dangerous but it just seems unnecessary when they make 4mm needles...

Hahaha, I'm not surprised :L I didn't even want to see the picture until we were out of the studio :L I don't regret it at all, and even though I didn't sell it very well, I would definitely recommend it =]

Only thing is, I wish I had a slightly longer tunnel in it, cause I can't move it at all and have to do soaks to clean it :/

You shouldn't be moving it around anyway so that's a good thing, haha. Unless swelling is making it uncomfortable, then you might need a longer tunnel.

Uh oh :/ I thought keeping them moving was a good thing :L In that case I'll stop trying. I'm lucky it's not uncomfortable, cause the tunnel is pretty much the same length as my ear is thick at that point :/
