putting jewelry in after taper...

hey all :]
soooo as you all know i've been stretching my ears haha.
buttuh, ive always been curious with how most people are SO easily able to slide in their plugs and such following the taper... :/ i can NEVER do it.
it gets really frusterating.
soooo, i'm just wondering if there are like any tips and tricks to make my life easier in that aspect. haha. oh and is it difficult to put in double flares after a fresh stretch? what kinda jewelry would you reccommend right after the taper?

Single flare jewelery... but I can't understand how you can fail this haha

water based lubricant , and single flared plugs, besides that i can't figure out how you manage not to do it

Stretch after a shower so your ears will be more loosened up. Also, single-flare plugs with rounded ends are really easy to put in.

Shan don't worry about the smartasses eh.
I have a set of stainless steel tapers, and the ends of them are all "slightly" rounded/smoothed off.
That combined with slippery lube and metal tunnels has made getting plugs in a little tricky on the occasion.
Also don't mind Mango, she's always a smart ass

Maybe you already do this, but have you tried putting the sf plug/tunnel up to the end of the taper when it is almost through, so that you use the actual plug to push the taper out of the ear? That way the plug is alligened with the taper and follows through.
Did that make sense?
Have you tried using tape?
You can find vids on youtube if you need it.

haha, yeah...its just annoying when i get those replies with the know it all tude. :] no worries though...but yeah thats where my issue comes in, so much slipperyness.

yeah, i try doing that but i must be like too uncoordinated to do it well. haha, like it gets like barely in..then just falls on my counter, then i get frusterated since everyone else does it soo damn easily which is why i asked :] so yeah it makes perfect sense!
tape? hmm, no...i prolly would use tape until i get to the bigger sizes...if i do go any bigger after 00g.

Sorry, my mistake- with the tape I didn't mean taping method. I meant using a bit of tape to fix the plug to the end of the taper. I saw it on youtube once- a guy who could never get the plug in, he just put a little bit of tape around the plug and taper, so they became one, then pulled the plug through along with the taper.
