i recently noticed that i had a blowout in my right ear and downsized from 18mm to 16mm, is it enough and how long should i wait til going back to 18mm? i didn't realize that my ear looked like that before i looked behind it with my cellphone camera :D im going to get jojoba oil for my lobes soon, i've heard that it helps to cure blowouts and thickens lobes. and oh yeah, i sleep without my tunnel. so here is a pic of it :
Image
in the pic it looks like a swollen butthole, but its taken from a low angle so its really not swollen. SO HELP ME TO GET RID OF THIS!!! D::::

things are going better

okay now i learned a new trick and have pushed the blowout inside the fistula and put my silicone tunnel in so the blowout would get smaller or something (seems to be a good idea:D:D:D), and also i have given my lobe jojoba oil massages and it has started to look better, im still going to stay in this size (16mm) for a little while to give my ear a break so i think im going to be allright! :)

I really wanted to reply before but I wasn't sure what to say, haha! What you're doing now sounds like a good idea though, the jojoba oil should really help =] Downsizing for a while will obviously let your ear heal, and I would just recommend listening to your body to know when you're ready to go up again. If I were you I would be taking vitamin C as well, as it helps promote healthy skin growth and repair =]

Good luck!!

Wow! :O That is really expensive stuff, haha! Either vitamin C oil, or you could take tablets =] You could even crush the tablets into warm water and rub that on. I know I would if it meant saving money, hahahahahahahaha!

You eat the vitamin c.
The whole point in vitamin c suppliments is that it helps keep your immune system healthy (+zinc tablets are great) so your body can fight off any nasties itself. Rubbing it on your skin won't help your immune system at all, and just piss off whatever wound.

Vitamin E oil massages are very good for scar tissue (as are pretty much any safe oil massages). Jojobas got a fair amount of vit e in, and I like to use that.

Whoops, I meant vitamin E oil :/ That said, vitamin C oil would work for whenever you're trying to go back up to 18mm, as it improves elasticity of skin 8-)

I myself like to use a mixture of jojoba oil and Savlon wound wash. This seems to keep my new conch punch pretty healthy =]
