14g Oozing
So I got my ears pierced at a 14g about two months ago. About a week ago I decided to throw some new jewelry in there cus I was tired of the steel barbells. So I got some little acrylic plugs and all was well for a bit. Then I went back home (I am a college kid.) I went out to a bonfire and it was freaking cold and my ears felt weird but I was like, "Whatever." I go home and take them out. Then I notice that there is puss coming out. So I don't know if that is normal or if I should be worried. It doesn't happen when I am in the warm weather back at school. But the cold seems to do something to it. As if that wasn't bad enough, I had to reopen one of the holes with a pincher cus a couple nights ago I lost a piece of jewelry and didn't think it would close up overnight. Well it did, the back closed up but there was still a tiny hole so I was able to stretch it up back to a 14g. So that one had a little blood mixed with puss about ten minutes ago, but the other had no blood, but puss. Is all this generally normal?

Re: 14g Oozing
That's pretty weird. I haven't heard of that happening. After two months you shouldn't have any problem. I had my ears pierced at an 8gauge and I was able to stretch up to the next size a month later with acrylics. Try salt soaking.
The sound of gun fire so loud and rapid, but it seems to be so quiet around me, and out of nowhere I feel peace cover me. I reach down and reload my ticket home. The taste of cold steel on my lips, and a second later silence fills the January air...

Re: 14g Oozing
sounds like you had a reaction to the material. try wearing stainless steel til it gets better.

yes, it def sounds as if acrylic is not your thing ( as is the case with many others). Go for steel, glass and titanium.
