So I stretched from 12g to 10g tonight with no dramas (hold the applause, I know it's impressive), and I just hopped out of the shower. And uh, they've got water in them, which I can't get out. Should I just not be concerned about it? They're at a size where it's sort of stuck in there.

...I did warn that it'd be a stupid question. I just read somewhere that they really should be kept dry.

yea that's terrible...you need to get them out right now or you could loose your piercing!!!









Just kidding...lol. I wear my jewelry in the shower all the time, even after new stretches. I wouldn't be too concerned with it.

you got water in what? your jewelry? fistula? and yeah i wear my jewelry in the shower too, water doesnt kill youl plugs i guess, but i dont know about wooden plugs...

I know, it seems like a stupid question to ask. The water just keeps getting trapped inside the jewelry and it won't come out. I think it's mostly annoying because I'm finally at a (tiny) gauge where you can see through the tunnels I've got in and the water blocks up the hole.

O I see what you're sayin now. Yea, that's no problem at all. Water won't affect acrylic or glass plugs. Wood kinda.

I have an answer that is just as silly, but it works: uncooked spaghetti. Yep, you take one and poke it through the tunnel, works nicely Seriously, that is what I did at that size, cos jojobaoil always clogged up my tunnels.

I like the sound of the spaghetti trick :L One thing you could do is use your hair drier on the tunnels :O That should hopefully dry them out quickly :L!

Damn, I can't eat pasta, so I don't keep it around the house...

What if you roll the corner of some tissuepaper up really tight, maybe then it can fit and soak up the water?

I've tried, the only way I've been able to get the water out so far is by taking the plugs out and blowing gently on them. I'm surprised at how much water can fit into such tiny little pieces of jewelry.
