14g to 12g

I just stretched from 14g to 12g and it was really the first real stretch I did. 16g to 14g was a dead stretch that wasn't hard for me. I actually used the taper this time and felt the pressure of it and some stinging, but all in all I think it went well. It looks good and I have a stainless plug in for the moment. I'll wait about a week and a half before I mess with it at all. I'm probably going to put in an eyelet after the fresh stretch heals some.

i did the same thing and im a 12g but im going to stretch with a taper for 10g but for some odd reason my ears just let the plugs slide in with no problem i guess from all the years of wearing different earrings but you should be fine and welcome to the club :p

Yeah I have real elastic ears, the next morning after I stretched it already wasn't sore at all. With the Jojoba oil massages I was doing, which I resume again in about a week, I should have no problems with this stretch.

Hybrid, are you massaging a week after stretching? I've been thinking I should probably start, but I don't want to mess up my stretches. :(

Yeah, actually I ended up having to change jewelry last night because I lost an O ring. Not the best since my stretch is fresh, but I don't see any reason after a week why not to massage, at least for me. I heal really quickly and have stretchy lobes though. Listen to your body.

I heal fairly well, too, but it's just that I haven't got any experience with the massaging thing.

I asked my body, it said "I don't know. Can we get a doughnut? I want a doughnut."

Haha, well go get a doughnut then all I would say is whenever you feel comfortable taking out your plugs. Around a week to two weeks is when I'm going to start back and I do daily massages all the way up to the day I stretch. I actually do it right before I stretch as well.

They give me indigestion. I've never given myself good advice in my life.

I can take my plugs out no problems now, they're not terribly fickle, thankfully. Even my left ear has stopped giving me grief at the size I'm at. :D I reckon I'll try to get my hands on jojoba oil and start massaging. If I'm gonna do it, I want to do it properly... I've seen some of the blowout pictures on the interwebz and they scare the crap out of me.

Yeah when I woke up and my eyelet was stuck half way in my ear and was killing me I freaked. I took it out and put my plug back in with some different O rings so it will stay in place. It was sore for two days after that. I'm really hoping I didn't mess it up. I will most likely be at 12g until mid january just to give myself more time.

I found a way to stop that from happening. Get two extra o-rings and fit them on the front of your eyelets behind the flare before you pop them in, they act as a stopper. It keeps mine from getting wedged inside the hole because they're at an awkward size.
