				Really off topic.. hiv/piercing..

				SOOOO question, again sorry dunno where if anyplace this question fit... had two friends who wanted there ears pierced, bought 14g hollow needles, and i did it for them.. i did not have on gloves, after removing the needle blood dripped on my fingers i poured 99% alcohol on them shortly after.. i have short fingers nails and possible small cuts around them.. lets assume my friends have hiv what are the odds? thanks!

				Well if any of their blood got into those cuts and they're open at all my guess is you would get HIV

				I'd say that the only person who can diagnose you is a doctor. You should go see one for peace of mind, even if you just think you're being paranoid. Doctors don't mind. They get paid for it.

				Your chances of getting HIV aren't very high, although you shouldn't have risked it. By not wearing gloves, my bigger concern would be that you got bacteria from your hands into your friends' piercings. Always wear gloves or don't pierce anyone! Also, if you didn't use sterile (autoclaved) jewelry any germs that were on the jewelry are now in their ears.
