So i have been at 00 for a while, a little over 6 months i think, and i had these double flare steel tunnels in, and last night i took them out to put new ones in, and the sharp edge tore my ear and it bled a good amount. So far i put in a pair of 00's that are a little bit (about 1 mm) smaller than my regular ones to be safe, and i would like to know what i could do to help? I've heard about sea salt soaks but is there anything else i could do? Hydrogen peroxide maybe?

Also, after the tear is fully healed i plan to massage my ears with my jojoba oil to get rid of the scar tissue. thanks for any help :)

Sea salt soaks will be great, just make sure you don't use too much salt! And never use hydrogen peroxide; it kills healthy cells and does more harm than good. Sounds like you're on the right track, though.

Sure! I always use an average-size coffee mug since it's 8 ounces (1 cup) or at least very close to it. Fill it up with hot water; you can either boil tap water or microwave bottled/purified water in the cup, and mix in somewhere between 1/8 and 1/4 teaspoon of finely-ground sea salt. Let it cool enough so it's not going to burn you but still really hot, and soak your earlobe in it for 5-10 minutes (but if it's five minutes you might want to do it twice a day). Good luck!
