The judge is not allowed to tell you wat u can and cant have in your body. She is a judge not ur mother.

I would just keep them in until its time to see the judge, then take them out. As soon as its over put them right back in.

+1 take'em out right before and put them in right after, you should be fine after 5 weeks.

just leave them in till you have to be in the court room. by taking them in and out time and time again, you will just irritate your ears. if you are gonna take them out for the judge, taking them out early "just to see" won't do you any good. if they shrink up in a few hours, just put smaller jewelry in them and play with them for a few days and they should be good to put your bigger plugs back in. good luck.

I think Judges can dictate what you were in their courtroom, but I am not sure so I will concede to you that they can not. On the other hand a judge can find a lot of other reasons to find you in contempt of court (as they did my friend). His lawyer told him to do as the judge wants. He did not want to just to prove point as you are, and after third time and like six days in jail he did as judged asked (removal of hat and some pins on shirts). Now his was a criminal case not accident so there may be a difference.
Point is it is not worth arguing with judge over some thing so trivial.
